Polyurethane processing equipment maker Gusmer Corp. introduced new two-component metering units, the H-2000 and H-3500, that are more rugged, easier to service and run at a higher capacity than the earlier H-20/35 line. Gusmer, of Lakewood, N.J., said it substantially increased the operating pressures of the metering units. Built out of a welded-frame structure, the device is more rigid than competing metering units that are bolted together, Gusmer said.
The electrical console now is fully enclosed and gasketed, to protect against moisture and dust.
Gusmer also substantially increased the heater's surface areas.
The company also unveiled the Arctic Booster Pack, described as a low-cost inlet preheater for two-component equipment. Features include an internal temperature probe and solid-state controllers.
