The following items arrived too late to be included in the May 8 and May 15 Plastics News NPE-preview issues. Gluco Inc. (Booth E10318): A high-speed, 30-ton vertical-clamp, vertical-inject molding machine. The press will be equipped with a two-station rotary and Allen-Bradley Proset 200 injection molding circuitry.
Holland Colors Americas Inc. (Booth N5041): Holcosil silicone-based pigment paste, and new Holcopcill and Holcopet colorants.
D.R. Joseph Inc. (Booth E11720): will debut enhancements of its IS-IBCI internal bubble cooling systems for blown film. They feature smart sensors with integrated microprocessors, temperature compensation, on-board diagnostics and high-speed pneumatics. The firm has a new auto gauge controller and lay-flat controller for better operator and bubble control.
Munchy Ltd. (Booth N6197): Munchy K100, a 220.4 pound-per-hour recycling system. The machine occupies 120 square feet of floor space, and can reprocess a variety of polyethylene materials, including edge trim, cutouts, sacks and flake. Also, a Munchy P55 Aqua, a water-cooled system for reprocessing polypropylene, and polystyrene, ABS and nylon blends.
O.S. Walker (Booth S4259): Subsidiary of Walker Magnetics Group Inc. will demonstrate the Pressmag QMC, a quick-mold-change system for holding molds directly onto horizontal or vertical injection presses.
Upstream Systems & Machinery (Booth N5030): Film and sheet trim and recycling systems, and plant scrap repelletizers.
Wilmington Machinery Inc. (Booth S1159): Several advancements and improvements in its line of low-pressure structural foam injection molding machinery. New low-profile design accommodates overhead robots, making part removal easier. Also, progressive mold-fill option allows multigated molds to be filled in pre-program mode, reducing the effect of weld lines and improving venting.
