MEXICO CITY — Beutelspacher SA de CV (Booth S4249) has released a new line of blow molding machines targeting small and medium-sized bottle makers. The company is marketing the automated SBSP 2003 as a cost-effective alternative to larger equipment. Beutelspacher plans to promote its line at the NPE 2000 show, June 19-23 in Chicago.
The SPSP 2003 can handle a maximum bottle volume of 2 liters with one or two blowing cavities. Each machine can produce 900-1,200 bottles an hour. The company is selling the SBSP 2003 for $64,908.
Beutelspacher, with 105 employees, reported about $1.8 million in sales last year — mostly in Mexico.
