CHICAGO (July 14, 2 p.m. EDT) — Randcastle Extrusion Systems Inc. introduced a new production extruder at NPE, a departure from its focus on laboratory models. It claims the machine
is easily disassembled to adapt to the production space.
The Cedar Grove, N.J., firm also debuted five extrusion lines. They include a 50:1 compounder with triple mixing using elongational dispersion, a coextrusion blown film line running Randcastle´s pancake die, and a tiny, benchmounted blown film line that allows small quantity sampling.
