RIDGEFIELD, CONN. (July 18, 2:15 p.m. EDT) — OneChem Ltd. has launched operations after developing its software for nearly a year.
The company´s core functions include integrating chemical company customers´ supply chains, streamlining purchases and speeding order entry processes.
Not funded by a specific chemical company, OneChem has the backing of management consulting firm McKinsey and Co., according to a OneChem news release.
The Ridgefield-based company is headed by President and Chief Executive Officer Gregory Corgan, a former IBM Corp. executive. The company has offices in the United States, Japan and Switzerland.
OneChem´s first offering is the "Transactional StoreFront," a personalized site that allows buyers and sellers to make commercial transactions online. The company will work with buyers and sellers of chemicals, plastics and derivatives.
