In her position as general manager of Amcor PET Technologies, a division of Amcor PET Packaging - North America, Goodrich identifies trends and develops technologies that will influence current and future packaging opportunities.
Amcor PET Packaging in Mississauga, Ontario, is a division of Montreal's Amcor Twinpak – North America, a unit of Australia's Amcor Ltd. Amcor PET Packaging – North America is Canada's biggest manufacturer of containers for the beverage industry.
During the past three years, Goodrich has seen Amcor PET Technologies grow from a research group to a division responsible for developing and commercializing new business opportunities.
Before coming to Amcor in 1996, Goodrich was operations director for the Guelph Food Technology Center, a food and packaging research organization in Guelph, Ontario. She was also technical director for Magic Pantry Foods and a senior consultant for the Technology Management Group of Pugh-Roberts Associates, an Ontario firm specializing in innovation and technology strategy.
She has a degree in molecular biology from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Mass., and has done graduate work in management.
