Caruso has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing software business. His involvement includes product management, application development, marketing and consulting focused on application architectures and functional design for both large- and medium-scale enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
Before joining Boston-based AMR Research, he worked on the application vendor side of the business as vice president of business development at Pivotpoint Inc., vice president of marketing and product development at Visibility Inc., DBS Fellow at Dun & Bradstreet Software, director of advanced manufacturing applications at Powersoft Inc. and director of application development at Cullinet Software Inc. In each of these positions, Caruso was responsible for guiding the strategic product and market planning.
In addition to his vendor experience, David also has experience on the user side of the business. He has been manufacturing manager, as well as leading and consulting on many ERP implementations at companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Rolls-Royce plc and Sun Microsystems Inc.
