CINCINNATI — Sun Chemical Corp.'s Colors Group, a Cincinnati-based supplier of organic pigment and aqueous dispersion to the automotive, cosmetics, plastics, printing ink and coatings markets, has made several personnel moves.
Iain Currie was promoted to technical manager of the Koge manufacturing plant, where he will be responsible for all technical functions of the operation including process and quality control. Currie began his career at Sun in 1981. Currie's former position was technical liaison manager between the Sun Inks Group and Pigments International.
Internationally, Colors Group has an office in Wavre, Belgium. The company operates nine manufacturing facilities worldwide to ISO 9002 standards.
Sun Chemical's International Group also has two new regional sales managers, Horst Beckmann and Uwe Tegtmeyer. Both will report to Herbert Unger, sales manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Beckmann has 30 years of experience in pigment sales and will be based in Kirchheim/Teck near Stuttgart.
Tegtmeyer brings a technical background and six years of business experience to Sun Chemical. He will be based in Hanover, Germany.
