PENDLETON, IND. — North American auto lighting giant Guide Corp. has a new owner and new leadership.
Vehicle Lighting Inc. on Feb. 13 wrapped up its purchase of the $600 million injection molder from Palladium Equity Partners LLC and named Dennis Hiller the company's new president and chief executive officer.
Hiller is an industry veteran who served as president of Collins & Aikman Corp.'s North American Automotive Interior Systems Division until October. He then took a post with turnaround consulting company BBK Ltd. of Southfield, Mich..
At BBK, Hiller worked alongside founder B.N. Bahadur, who also owns Vehicle Lighting.
Guide, which is based in Pendleton, is the largest North American supplier of exterior automotive lighting and the top maker of headlights for General Motors Corp.
