Arnold Rosenthal is the co-founder and executive vice president of Utility Resource Management Group Inc., a Newport Beach, Calif.-based consulting firm that provides utility cost-containment solutions for more than 600 clients nationwide.
URM claims it has presented more than $150 million dollars in savings opportunities to its clients. Rosenthal helps identify those opportunities in the marketplace, in some cases developing new products and creating unique rate offerings to help clients reduce costs.
URM's client list includes plastics processors Scotts Co.'s Republic Tool and Manufacturing Corp. of Carlsbad, Calif., and Cambro Manufacturing Co. of Huntington Beach, Calif.
In the past six years, URM says it has become the largest utility cost-containment firm in California and continues to be the fastest-growing firm in the United States, representing hundreds of megawatts of client consumption in California.
URM says Rosenthal accurately predicted the impact of the deregulation process in California. He brings a wealth of knowledge about energy markets, rates and tariffs, and a keen sense of where the market is moving. Rosenthal is a graduate of California State University in Los Angeles, where he earnned a degree in accounting.
