LOS ANGELES — Concord Disc Manufacturing Corp. is moving its Southern California operations to Anaheim from a space-restricted site in Brea.
Administrative functions should be moved by mid-March and manufacturing operations by June, sales manager Clint Wood said at Replitech North America, held Feb. 20-22 in Los Angeles. Concord expects to vacate its leased plant by midyear.
Growth in optical-media replication prompted the change, Wood said.
Concord acquired 16 Krauss-Maffei marathon-brand compact-disc systems in 1998, and it intends to add 10-15 more presses at the leased, 200,000-square-foot Anaheim facility.
