LOS ANGELES — Price-Driscoll Corp. of Waterford, Conn., completed a facility expansion in March and recently added a product line.
The expansion "permits us to ship from stock instead of trying to produce from orders," Bob Walter, general sales manager, said in an interview at the company's Plastics Encounter booth. Now, Price-Driscoll has 18,000 square feet, including the additional 6,000-square-foot being used for warehousing, raw materials and finished goods.
Recently, Price-Driscoll introduced its Spectrum series of mold releases, cleaners and protectants specifically designed for plastic molding operations.
The plastics industry accounts for about 90 percent of Price-Driscoll sales, said President Philip Barth. The company has eight employees and markets principally through distributors and manufacturers' representatives.
