Jeffrey Wincel oversees $5 billion in purchases for Donnelly Corp.'s global operations, which span 13 countries. His responsibilities include strategic commodity and supplier initiatives, source selection and other procurement activities, as well as supplier development, supplier quality and distribution.
The publicly held Donnelly (www.donnelly.com), based in Holland, Mich., since 1905, makes a range of automotive electronic and optical products, with North American injection molding-related sales of about $450 million.
Wincel previously served as VP and general manager of Donnelly's modular systems unit and ran the firm's $300 million modular windows business. Prior to joining Donnelly, he was director of worldwide purchasing for both TRW Vehicle Safety Systems and TRW Occupant Restraints Systems Group, and he also has worked for Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Corp.
