DIRECT ACCESS INTERNATIONAL - The Riviera Beach, Fla.-headquartered manufacturer and distributor of post-consumer plastic products named Kevin Lee director of sales. Lee had served with the plastic division of American Can Co., Packaging Resources Inc., Fina Oil and Chemical Co. and Amoco Chemical Co.
EVC INTERNATIONAL NV - The Amsterdam, Netherlands-based PVC producer announced changes to its board of directors. David Rolph and Marino Uberti are leaving the board, and transitional director Ghislain Decadt, who joined when the firm was acquired by Ineos Group plc of Southampton, England, is returning to other Ineos activities. New directors are Jeff Seed, who becomes operations director, EVC group finance manager John Hudson, who becomes chief financial officer, and David Thompson, who becomes commercial director.

MACHINEPOINT LTD. - The Madrid, Spain-based operator of the used plastics machinery electronic marketplace www. machinepoint.com named Argentine Emilio Zaffignani its executive vice president responsible for product management and global marketing. He was formerly senior vice president for business development at GE Capital.
PRINTPACK INC. - The Atlanta-based flexible packaging converter announced the deaths of former vice presidents G. David Peake and Richard Botsch. Peake, 62, died May 14 after a long illness, and Botsch, 68, died May 30 after complications from a heart attack. Peake joined the company in 1967 and Botsch in 1981.
SMS PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY - The Meinerzhagen, Germany-based plastics processing machinery group has appointed Walter Hder joint managing director, responsible for marketing and sales at Cincinnati Extrusion GmbH of Vienna, Austria. Hder was formerly on the board of Krupp Elastomertechnik GmbH.
