COMMERCIAL PLASTICS CO. - Jack Shedd was named executive vice president of the Mundelein, Ill., molder and extruder of thermoplastics materials.
GVR COMPLAST LTD. CO. - The Houston-based toll and custom compounder of engineering resins, polyolefins and elastomers named Alex Eliades vice president of business development. Eliades is founder of TCT Alliance and a 42-year veteran of the plastics industry.
HEXCEL CORP. - The Stamford, Conn.-based structural materials producer appointed David E. Berges chairman and chief executive officer. He succeeds John J. Lee, who died May 5. Berges had been president of Honeywell International Inc.'s consumer products group, which supplies automotive products for original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket. Earlier, Berges held positions in aerospace and industrial markets.
NORTH AMERICA PACKAGING CORP. - The Atlanta-based maker of injection molded and blow molded packaging established geographic operating divisions and appointed Bill White and Ron Bowman as vice presidents and general managers with divisional responsibility for manufacturing and sales. White leads the east division based at the Dayton, N.J., plant, and Bowman heads the west division operating from the Indianapolis plant. Also, Nampac established a senior sales function led by Bryan Hepper, vice president of national account sales, and announced three promotions: Steve Kenyon to vice president of purchasing and logistics, Charlie Watling to director of engineering and technical services and David Ray to vice president of marketing.
PLASSEIN INTERNATIONAL - Roger Sullivan was named vice president of marketing and sales for the Willington, Conn.-headquartered manufacturer of specialty films. Sullivan previously served as director of business development at Independent Packaging and as director of sales and marketing of film products at Printpak.
PLASTIC TRENDS INC. - The Shelby Township, Mich., subsidiary of Royal Group Technologies Co. named Jay Eversoll vice president of sales and marketing. Plastic Trends manufactures pipe fittings.
POLYMER CORP. - F. Douglas Doscher was named vice president of sales and marketing for the Rockland, Mass.-based liquid resin caster, injection molder and supplier of quick tooling for injection molding. Doscher formerly was residential marketing manager for Dryvit Systems Inc.
