About three years ago, Paulson Training Programs Inc. and the Society of Plastics Engineers had a disagreement regarding the representation and endorsement of training products for the plastics industry. As a result, our two organizations have had only limited business contact and have not had the synergistic relationship that our mutual interests in the plastics industry deserve.
SPE and Paulson have now agreed that it is time to start a renewed relationship. Discussions are presently under way to determine the details of that relationship.
In a sincere effort to put this issue behind us, I would like to offer my apologies to Mike Cappelletti and SPE for any statements I may have made in the 1998 period that could have been construed as personally directed and derogative. At no time was any personal affront intended. My statements at the time were made solely to reflect our opposition to business actions taken by SPE with which we disagreed. We would genuinely like to put this misunderstanding aside, and we eagerly look forward to combining the vital talents and energies of SPE with our own product offerings and knowledge to build the most beneficial relationship possible.
We are pleased that SPE and Paulson Training are taking proactive steps toward becoming closer business partners. We look forward to a rewarding working relationship with SPE management and staff.
