Our family and the people of G&F Industries will always be grateful to countless friends and strangers who rallied to support us even before the fire at our warehouse was extinguished.
Under the command of Sturbridge Fire Chief Leonard Senecal, hundreds of firefighters from 24 communities skillfully fought the largest fire our community has seen in recent times. As a result of their extraordinary effort, no one was killed or injured. From the moment the fire began, our primary concern was always the well-being of the people.
Now that the danger has passed, we have the ability to rebuild because these firefighters saved nearly all of our production equipment, as well as our offices and mainframe computer system.
The list of thanks only begins with the firefighters, as well as the local and state police officers from the surrounding communities. On the morning after the fire, when we realized that G&F was without a home, help originated where it usually does, from close friends.
We are rebuilding. We are back in production and have been supplying our customers with the products they need. Our loyal customers continue to help us to help them.
We remain proud of our many relationships, each of which holds steadfast while we rebuild. Each day we take another step forward in eliminating the disruption the fire has caused to our employees, our business and our customers.
The fire is over. With the support of our community we are ready for tomorrow.
