I must take exception to your [Viewpoint column] regarding the U.S. presence at K 2001 (“K can't escape pall of Sept. 11 attacks,” Nov. 5, Page 6).
Although I do agree that while there were fewer Americans at the show, there still was enough attendance to make the show worthwhile for all concerned. From our company, Bamberger Polymers Corp., there were four U.S. attendees, myself included. We, along with a contingent from our Dutch office, exhibited at the U.S. Pavilion. We found this show to be very rewarding as there was a good international and American representation visiting our stand. We have gotten a lot of interesting leads from this exhibition.
