DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (Dec. 12, 3:40 p.m. EST) — Extrusion equipment supplier Kreyenborg Industries has moved into a new facility in Georgia and added a testing laboratory to work with its North American customers.
The company, owned by auxiliary systems supplier Kreyenborg GmbH of Munster, Germany, opened a 16,000-square-foot sales and service facility in Lawrenceville, Ga., Kreyenborg Industries Executive Vice President Mario Goepfert said Oct. 24 at K 2001 in Dusseldorf.
The facility has a single-screw extruder to test PET materials. Kreyenborg produces pelletizing, mixing and materials-handling equipment for extruders and other processors.
The company invested about $2 million in the project and added about seven people to its U.S. sales staff. The German manufacturer opened its first sales office at another location in Lawrenceville four years ago.
