The European Plastics Recyclers has re-elected President Bernard Merkx for a second two-year term. Merkx is managing director of Schoeller Wa- vin Systems Recycling BV in Hardenberg, the Netherlands.
Other officers elected by the Brussels-based group for two years are Vice President Casper van den Dungen, managing director of ITW Poly Recycling AG; Vice President Silvio Loderbusch, managing director of Rethmann Plano GmbH of Nordwalde, Germany; and Treasurer Helmut Ogulin from Austrian recycling association VKROL of Vienna.
New committee members are Gert Willems, managing director of Pears Plastics NV of Houthalen, Belgium; Mark Burstall of the British Plastics Federation's recycling council; Jose Vicente Losada of the Spanish recycling association Anarpla; Rudi Galle from Rulo SA in Ghent, Belgium; and Anders Hillertz, managing director of Hillertz AB of Molndal, Sweden.
