Jeffrey S. Arnold is joining the Association of Rotational Molders April 1 as executive director designate.
Charles Frederick plans to retire after 15 years as ARM executive director and will remain through a transition period of about six months. A search for a successor began last year.
``Having a new director will give ARM a chance to examine everything from a fresh perspective, take inventory of where we are and who we are and, if need be, redirect the organization,'' said James Leitz, president of ARM and vice president of marketing for rotomolder Gregstrom Corp. in Woburn, Mass. ``We need to offer more value to our members.''
Arnold has been administration director in the Chicago office of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, which was formed Jan. 1 when the Construction Industry Manufacturers Association and Equipment Manufacturers Institute consolidated. Arnold has 19 years of experience in association management.
Oak Brook-based ARM represents about 450 member companies in 57 countries.
