Conair Group of Pittsburgh said its MLC6 loader controls work with its DustBeater and Z Loader, creating a new range of discrete loader controls that are accurate, repeatable and easy to use.
The MLC6 has a 16-character readout that tells users exactly what is happening, in plain language.
Gone are the sometimes-confusing indicator lights and coded readouts of earlier controllers. Under alarm conditions, the loader not only indicates an alarm with a panel-mounted light, but also tells you the reason for the alarm and pinpoints the exact problem, with a message like “fill sensor unsatisfied.”
Conair said an optional audible alarm is available.
A push-button screen replaces knobs, to provide digital accuracy.
Conair said the follow-up to the MLC6 will be Selectronic 6 units, distributed input/output control systems designed to provide local control of loader/receivers in a central vacuum system.
MLC6 controllers come standard with new Conair self-contained loaders. They can be retrofitted to earlier generations of Conair loaders.
