Stoddard Silencers Inc. of Grayslake, Ill., makes industrial-grade silencers and filters for blowers, fans, engines, compressors and vacuum pumps.
The company's new product, Perma Pack, is designed for positive-displacement blowers.
It is a retaining tube that allows noise to pass through and be absorbed by the acoustical packaging.
Another new product is a compact-design silencer, called the DC31, for smaller, rotary, positive-displacement blowers. The DC31 is available in stock sizes of 2-6 inches.
