Jeff Kolke worked for 14 years in the plastics and chemical industries, and also has commercial-finance experience in the areas of senior and subordinated debt, securitization and private equity investments. In April 2000 he joined GE Commercial Finance, a Stamford, Conn.-based provider of asset-based lending.
Prior to that, Kolke served for four years as a national accounts manager for GE Plastics in Detroit. While there, he managed $60 million worth of resin sales to the automotive supplier community. Before joining General Electric in 1996, he held lead sales, marketing, and engineering positions at Nalco Chemical Co. and National Starch & Chemical Co., serving the automotive, packaging and converting, and durable goods markets.
Recently relocated to Chicago, he holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from University of Michigan.
