Cinpres Gas Injection Ltd. has doubled its space by moving into a new, 12,000-square-foot building within Middlewich near Manchester Airport.
The company is attributing the move to a 25 percent increase in sales of new, gas-assisted molding systems since the merger of Cinpres Ltd. and Gas Injection Ltd. in 2001.
Steve Jordan, a Cinpres director, said the company's annual sales are about $7.5 million. The building is next to the soon-to-be opened assisted injection molding center, which will help customers view a variety of injection technologies.
Jordan said the center has three injection presses that can do mold trials and training, and help the company develop new processes.
The company's U.S. operation, Cinpres Gas Injection Inc., also recently moved to a new building in Ann Arbor, Mich., bringing all sales and technical activity under one roof. The U.S. unit has installed an all-electric Sumitomo injection press with 180 tons of clamping force.
