Budzar Industries Inc. has designed a multizone hot-water temperature controller, with up to six independent zones.
The control unit has its own controls, pumps, heater and cooling modes. An independent zone control maximizes production by operating each zone at an independent set point.
Budzar of Willoughby, Ohio, also has designed a multizone controller with quick-change removable sliding trays. If one component fails, the operator disconnects it then removes the tray and slides in a new one, all in less than a minute and without stopping the process. The old component can be repaired at the plant, or can returned to Budzar for an overnight restoration to factory specifications.
Also new from Budzar is the ICE CT-M series of cooling towers. An induced draft design ensures that a low-static, low-energy fan will do the job, avoiding the water leaks that can happen in forced-draft towers. The water is pumped to the top of the tower cell, then gravity takes over.
