The halls of McCormick Place will be filled with machinery makers, resin suppliers and mold makers exhibiting their wares, but a pocket of processors also will be occupying booth space at NPE 2003. Here are some with details about what they'll show off.
Sentinel Products Corp. (Booth S1204): Foam technology and systems for cross-linked and noncross-linked polyethylene, polystyrene, PET, HDPE and polypropylene foams. A patent-pending, five-layer coextrusion die designed for lightweight foams. With its latest die and process technology, Sentinel offers I-beam structural polypropylene foam sheets available with stiffness or softness, low densities and coextruded skins. The new PP foam is for thermoforming and intended to replace most cross-linked PE and PP foams.
Stik-II Products (Booth S3120): Custom-formulated, water-based adhesives coated or laminated onto polyethylene, polyurethane, neoprene and vinyl foams.
Unimark Plastics Co. (Booth N4485): Insert molding, stack molding of close-tolerance parts and cutting-edge technology.
V. Himark USA Inc. (Booth E13532): Window glazing tapes and adhesive tapes for use on extruded profiles.
ZL Engineering Plastics Inc. (Booth E11050): Two new sizes in its line of acetal sheets. It will share a booth with parent company Zell-Metall GmbH.
