(Booth N7012): The series of new testing equipment going online includes the Vicat 500-D for oil-free tests, Rheologic 5000 twin — which can configure capillary rheometers for one or two barrels — a Cryo Dispenser allowing for the simultaneous testing of up to 100 specimens and a new midrange-priced series of melt flow index testers.

Comet Automations Systems Inc. (Booth S3022): The launch of three new systems — the Gravi Mix micro blender, Gravi Mix continuous gravimetric blender, Vision Systems PE-300 — and showing of an improved Honeycomb dehumidifying dryer is set. The PE-300 is a hand-held monitor that can sense flash, short shots, contamination or other potential signs of problems impacting the cavities, core pins and slides with 0.03 second of scan time.
Com-Ten Industries (Booth N7210): Introduction of the ComTouch total control material test unit with a hand-held controller capable of use in any Com-Ten Universal Test System as well as some older units. Com-Ten will also launch a universal test stand with single- and twin-screw units available in five capacities from 1,000 to 20,000 pounds.
Corotec Corp. (Booth E10721): Corotec's blown film corona treating system is set for debut, with its open frame design for easy access and two-sided corona treatment capability. Impact Analytical (Booth E11232): A three-step method has been developed to test methods to isolate, identify and measure taste and odor-causing components in bottles for drinking water.
