Polysource Inc. is preparing to relocate from Sidney to a $3.5 million, 80,000-square-foot facility in nearby Piqua, Ohio.
The company will move its 25 workers to the site, which was chosen in part because of its proximity to a railroad line, according to a Piqua news release. Construction began May 1 and should be completed by the fall.
The firm produces colorized expandable polystyrene resin and specialty EPS copolymers used in bicycle helmets, packaging, appliances and portable computers. About 80 percent of its sales are to overseas accounts, the release said.
Company officials could not be reached for comment.
