CHICAGO (July 2, 2 p.m. EDT) — Auxiliary equipment maker CRG Logics Inc. will be adding workers to manufacture screen changers and pelletizers from Italian firm Plast Hi Tech srl.
CRG, based in Lake Bluff, Ill., signed an agreement to sell and service PHT´s line of screen changers and pelletizers in the United States about a month ago, CRG President Carl Gillig said in a June 25 interview at NPE.
CRG has annual sales of about $2 million and employs 14. It plans to add three employees as a result of the PHT agreement.
The company will ramp up to manufacturing and will be making the complete line of screen changers within nine months, Gillig said. The 3-year-old CRG is interested in broadening its product line, he said.
The company introduced three models of PHT screen changers at NPE: a manual model, a hydraulic model and a dual-piston continuous screen changer. It also will sell and manufacture a water ring pelletizer from Ferrara, Italy-based PHT.
The company primarily makes gravimetric blenders, and resin conveying and extrusion control systems.
