The battle still rages in a six-year patent infringement suit between two composite door makers.
Therma-Tru Doors, based in Maumee, Ohio, and Plastpro Inc. of Livingston, N.J., are at odds over intellectual property for Therma-Tru's Fiber-Classic line.
Plastpro officials felt they had reached the conclusion of the battle on June 24, when Judge John Lifland granted summary judgment in the U.S. District Court in Newark.
Therma-Tru officials said they will appeal. Also, key elements of the suit are pending, officials said.
