CER is bringing its hot-stamp equipment to the United States through a sales agreement with Acromark Industries Inc. of Berkeley Heights, N.J.
CER, part of Paris-based Dubuit Group, makes a variety of automatic and semiautomatic hot-stamping equipment, including the new Quadrax computer numerically controlled machine introduced to the U.S. market at NPE in Chicago.
The machine is a four-axis CNC model capable of hot stamping around the periphery of shaped parts using either flat dies or silicone rollers. A shape-reading, computer-controlled laser can teach itself, enabling the machine to hot stamp different-shaped parts without reprogramming.
