Plastic pipe plays a role in Pfc. Jessica Lynch's homecoming in Palestine, W.Va. Findlay, Ohio-based Hancor Inc. donated high density polyethylene drainage pipe as part of a project that will allow for health and rehabilitation vehicles to enter and exit the Lynch family property, officials said. The city of Palestine and the Lynch family made several preparations for Jessica's return July 22, including construction of a circular driveway adjacent to their home. The project involved filling in a large section of a creek that runs along the side yard. The HDPE pipe now connects the two sides of the new culvert to prevent flooding. Lynch was a prisoner of war rescued during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
