INSITUFORM TECHNOLOGIES INC. - Thomas Rooney Jr. was named chief executive officer and a member of the board. Alfred Woods was named nonexecutive chairman. Both men replace Anthony Hooper, who resigned to pursue other interests. The St. Louis firm specializes in trenchless pipe rehabilitation.

NATIONAL PLASTICS CENTER & MUSEUM - The Leominster, Mass.-based nonprofit group elected G. Watts Humphrey Jr. as its new chairman. Humphrey currently is chairman and CEO of both Conair Group and International Plastics Equipment Group Inc. of Pittsburgh. He will begin serving in October, replacing Peter Bemis.
