Phillips Plastics Corp. is adding more painting and coating capability at its Medford precision decorating and injection molding facility.
To fund pollution-control equipment, the state of Wisconsin will loan Phillips $450,000 for seven years at 2 percent interest, and the company will invest another $613,000. Phillips has committed to add 25 jobs at the 95,000-square-foot plant.
Phillips ``can now take advantage of a new market opportunity,'' said Gov. Jim Doyle.
Hudson, Wis.-based Phillips Plastics employed 1,800, operated 15 plants and had sales of $216 million for the fiscal year ended in June 2002, according to the most recent Plastics News' survey of North American injection molders.
