Plastics News has moved its Executive Forum next year back by one week, to Feb. 1-4, and added a supplemental corporate strategy session at the end of the conference. A schedule conflict with the venue, the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort at Summerlin, prompted the shift, which means that for the second straight year, the event will kick off with networking activities on Super Bowl Sunday.
Two full conference days will follow, with some 30 presenters offering their input on key markets, materials prospects, and management and supply-chain best practices.
Then, on Feb. 4, an independently organized, supplemental session titled ``Strategic Responses in a Global Economy'' will address the status of domestic and global plastics markets, suggest strategic positioning options and offer advice on accessing capital markets.
The three-hour morning session is being organized jointly by Plante & Moran PLLC, its sister company P&M Corporate Finance LLC and Cleveland law firm Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP. Several senior executives from those firms will be present. Forum attendees can participate in the strategy session for an additional $95.
