United Silicone has improved its hot-stamping/heat- transfer machine, especially the smallest size, the US-5.
The company designed more conformity among the machines to minimize operator training and improve performance.
On the US-5, United Silicone replaced the previous pneumatic foil-feed system with a more-precise electric foil-feed system used on the larger models.
Other improvements include reduced setup time and improve product decorating capabilities. For example, head stroke adjustments may be made without the use of tools. Instead of the old socket-head setscrews, now the operator uses locking handles on the head slide and a down-limit adjusting sleeve, eliminating the need for hex wrenches. A quick-change die holder also replaced the standard die mounting plate. An improved head guide system gives accurate positioning during operation.
All three machines are equipped with United Silocone's new controller, based on open-architecture Canbus technology.
