Demag Plastics Group is seeking a new head of global manufacturing, now that Konrad Duschl has left the injection press maker, just seven months after being named DPG's chief operating officer.
DPG announced Duschl's departure March 22, saying he left to ``pursue other career opportunities'' and the decision was ``mutually agreed to by the company.''
With his departure, the management board now has three members: Helmar Franz, board speaker, is responsible for sales and marketing for Europe and Asia, plus engineering for the entire group; Gerhard Becker manages finance, personnel, purchasing and information technology; and Bill Carteaux is responsible for Demag Plastics Group in the Americas.
Franz will assume responsibility for global manufacturing until DPG names Duschl's replacement.
DPG has dual headquarters, in Schwaig and Strongsville, Ohio.
