Polymer Packaging Inc. has nabbed the protective packaging division of Carol Stream, Ill.-based Packaging Personified Inc.
Officials from North Canton-based Polymer Packaging would not disclose terms of the deal, which closed March 22.
The division employs 10 in a 30,000-square-foot, leased facility in Sparta, Mich. The operation, which will be renamed Polymer Protective Packaging LLC, makes substrates, including polyethylene bubble, spun-bond polypropylene and foam materials.
Mark Abolt was named general manager of the new operation. Jim Fues will continue as plant manager.
