I am very tired of reading how the economy is getting better and a few jobs have appeared here and there and, wow, we are in a recovery. For a recovery to truly happen, first the jobs that have been lost must be replaced. Then new jobs that come on the market can be celebrated as growth and building the economy.
You print articles about businesses that have an edge with new technology and skills. That technology, if it is truly worth anything, will be copied and used by other countries in less time than it took to develop it, leaving the people you boast as having an edge with their jaws on the floor wondering what happened.
I try to stay as positive as I can about things, but for every good piece of information you hear, it is easy to find thousands of negatives in the form of lost jobs to make that positive not so positive. In your articles and others I read, I hear people trying to feel good by trying to make what is happening to their industry sound like a good thing. I hope the people in this country will wake up and do something about our government's inability, unwillingness, or whatever it is that makes government not work for the people of this country.
