Colortronic Inc. introduced four series of granulators — the M65, MS, MTG and MSH.
The M65 features a low-speed, three-knife open rotor design. Rotating end discs give low-heat granulation and reduced friction wear.
MS screenless granulators also offer low-speed operation, eliminating longs and minimizing dust and fines. The adjustable feed chute rotates 360 degrees. MS granulators also have a bed comb design for improved regrind and extra bed comb protection, blade durability and long life for the hardened 8620-alloy steel cutters and double-sided bed combs with four cutting edges.
MTG granulators are compact, with integral sound— proofing. The V-cut rotor design reduces knife wear and eliminates excessive wear on the cutting-chamber side walls, by keeping material moving toward the center.
The MSH central granulators boast a heavy-duty design, for high-throughput jobs.
They feature a completely welded, heavy-steel construction.
MSH units come with a range of rotor types, including temperature-sensitive designs, a V-cut knife and an auxiliary flywheel.
