Colortronic Inc., a maker of blenders, feeders and granulators in Runnemede, N.J., is expanding its product line to include process heating and cooling equipment.
The new Colortronic equipment includes water and oil temperature-control units, portable and central chillers, cooling towers, pump tanks and water treatment and filtration systems.
“Customers are looking more and more for a single partner for all their auxiliaries,” said Rob Edwards, vice president of sales for Colortronic North America.
The temperature-control units are sold under the CWT and COT models.
The chiller products include BFC Series blown film coolers, C Series central chillers, CPC Series portable chillers, outdoor chillers and supplemental chilling systems. The AWX Series Winter Kooler is a supplemental chilling system designed to allow process cooling water to bypass a chiller whenever ambient air temperatures are low enough to provide enough cooling without mechanical refrigeration.
Colortronic cooling towers come in three different models, each with induced-draft counter-flow towers. The FG Series has a noncorrosive shell made of polyester-reinforced composites. M Series metal towers have galvanized components and a PVC fill. The third brand is the NC Series tower.
Colortronic's T/C Series pump tanks are custom made.
The TWMV280 Tower Water Management System controls scale, corrosion and microbiological fouling in open and closed recirculating cooling water networks, the firm said.
Colortronic is a unit of auxiliary equipment maker ACS Group of Wood Dale, Ill.
The line extension applies only to the Colortronic brand in North America.
