If you visit K 2004, you will be able to help name the new all-electric injection press from Sandretto Industrie SpA, the company said in its K show preview.
Sandretto will exhibit with its sister firms under Italy's Cannon Group, Windsor Kunststofftechnologie GmbH and Cannon polyurethane equipment. While the firms used to exhibit separately, the new message is synergy.
Sandretto will show a newly designed compact clamp on its Mega H two-platen injection presses during K show, Oct. 20-27 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The company also will show a three-component press, with a Windsor PlugXPress, demonstrating in-mold assembly of an automotive part. A fast-cycling Mach press, designed for thin-wall parts, and a Logica general-purpose press, also will be on display.
In polyurethane machinery news, Cannon will show new continuous production lines for panels insulated with PU and phenolic foams, new lower-priced A-Compact and AP metering units and other new systems for gasketing and potting applications, and recent developments in the InterWet coinjection technology.
Sandretto's U.S. headquarters, Sandretto USA Inc., is in Cranberry Township, near Mars, Pa.
