DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (Jan. 20, 3:10 p.m. EST) — Dyneon LLC has introduced a grade of its THV-brand fluoropolymer aimed at helping automakers comply with U.S. emissions for hydrocarbons.
Oakdale, Minn.-based Dyneon said the grade provides low permeation rates and is a suitable barrier layer in gas and diesel lines. It also can be processed with a variety of elastomers and used in flexible hose lines, officials said at K 2004 in Dusseldorf.
