Kosmek provides clamp for presses
Kosmek USA Ltd. of Bridgeview, Ill., said its Q series pneumatic quick-change clamp is designed for electric injection molding machines with clamping forces up to 350 tons.
The Q series features an advanced internal lock that keeps the tool safe. Easy positioning means the clamp can accommodate different tools. The patented internal cam generates a high clamping force and ensures safety if the air pressure is removed.
Since the clamp is air-powered, there is no chance of contamination around the clamp because of an oil leak. The air clamps are available as both fixed-mount and T-slot mount.
