Gain Technologies Inc., a supplier of gas-assisted injection molding technology, has moved to a new, 34,000-square-foot building near Macomb, in Shelby Township.
Gain's former building in Sterling Heights, Mich., was 20,000 square feet.
In the new headquarters, Gain will be able to do mold tryouts and even limited production for customers, said Edward Smith, vice president of sales and marketing. The company uses Catia product-design systems integrated into a tooling operation.
Gain now has six injection molding machines, with clamping forces of 83-300 tons. Smith said two larger presses, 500- and 800-ton machines, will be delivered by April 1.
Gain employs about 15.
