Groupe Sidel of France will show a new generation of PET blow molding machines that it said reduce costs and increase operating time.
After three years of research and development, Sidel said its new machine has cut bottle blowing costs by up to 20 percent compared to its SBO Series 2 machines.
At Interpack 2005, slated for April 21-27 in Dusseldorf, Germany, eight molds will demonstrate Sidel innovations in lighter bottles and new, patented shapes. Sidel reports that its new machines cut changeover times by 20 percent from the SBO Series 2 presses.
Sidel also will demonstrate filling technologies and high-speed shrink-wrapping equipment.
The company's U.S. unit, Sidel Inc., is in Norcross, Ga.
