Jerry Caruso is based in Minneapolis and has more than 20 years of investment banking experience representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and public offerings of debt and equity. He has particular expertise in the plastics, rubber, building products, metals, paper and packaging, and other industrial product related companies.
His recent plastics industry experience includes representing the sellers in these deals: Infiltrator Systems Inc. (sold to Graham Partners Inc.), Synventive Molding Solutions Inc. (sold to Advent International Corp,) and Dynisco LLC (sold to Audax Group). Caruso also previously served on the board of directors of The Plastics Group, a privately held custom blow molder until its sale to William Blair Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms in 1990, he was a vice president at RBC Capital Markets, a global investment banking firm. Prior to RBC,
Caruso was a corporate lending officer for JP Morgan Chase.
He has a bachelor or arts degree from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
