A German auto supplier has notified Indiana it will close an injection molding plant, cutting about 200 jobs.
The Laotto, Ind., site is one of two facilities in the United States for Sidler GmbH of Tubingen. The company turns out a variety of small interior and exterior parts including interior lighting components and cup holders.
Company officials were not immediately available to comment on the announcement. The firm told state officials it will close the plant by March 31.
