Geiss Thermoforming USA LLC (Booth E9833): Thermoforming machinery, trimming machine and molds. New introductions for the North American market include newly designed, low-cost trimming machine and new Speedium heating technology that heats 50 percent faster than quartz and 10 percent faster than halogen. Company to showcase thermoforming of Ford Mustang GT hood scoop using paint film on thermoplastic elastomer base.
GN Thermoforming Equipment (Booth E9920): GN1914DM dual-mold thermoforming machine. Also, GN4532D thermoforming machine, with a forming area of 45 inches by 32 inches.
Illig (Adolf Illig Maschinenbau GmbH) (Booth E9810): Machines and tools for thermoforming, including its model RDM70K third-generation thermoforming machines and tools. Line features tooling innovations, including improvements in water cooling, reduced forming air consumption and programmed control of down holder. Company will show the machine with a 24-up, 3-inch-diameter drink cup of clarified polypropylene.
Irwin Research & Development (Booth E9801): Designer and manufacturer of in-line thermoforming systems, granulators, and thermoforming molds. New introductions to North America include Model 30 thermoforming machine with front and rear cutoff knives and horizontal packaging off trim press.
Monark Equipment Technologies Co. (E10619): Cut-sheet and roll-fed thermoforming equipment, upgrade and automation systems and special-application equipment. Its new introductions to the North American market for roll-fed include double crank-throw, counterbalanced, servodrive systems. For the cut-sheet sector, high-speed, electric-drive system; precision electric-drive form-platen positioning and synchronization system; and economy single-station and rotary thermoforming machines.
National Extruded Sheet Clamping Co. Inc. (E9404): Sheet clamping and thermoforming systems.
Rajoo Engineers Ltd. (Booth N4980): Sheet lines for PP and PET. Computer-programmable thermoforming machine with a 21-cavity mold operating at 25 strokes per minute to produce nearly 30,000 glasses per hour.
Senoplast Klepsch & Co. (Booth E9946): Plastic sheet material for thermoforming applications with high visual impact. New products include Senosan SolarNew-EG, weatherable, color-matched PC/ABS sheets coextruded with high-gloss acrylic top layers. Class A surface quality.
Thermoformers Parts Suppliers (Booth E9455): Repair and maintenance parts for thermoforming equipment, including quick mold-change align and lock cylinders, stacker hinges, and vector-drive indexing system for in-line thermoforming machines.
Thermoforming Systems LLC (Booth E9840): Introducing 120/150mm tandem foam extruder - offered through subsidiary Sunwell Global Ltd. The line produces 1,213 pounds per hour of foam polystyrene sheet for products such as meat trays, hinge lids, containers and disposable tableware items. Equipment adaptable to PE and PP. Also introducing, Global 45-degree, three-roll rigid-sheet takeoff to complement Global extrusion systems. The takeoff can process amorphous PET, PS and PP. Also exhibiting Low Flex 5.0 thermoforming machine and Version 5.0HD trim press.
Zed Industries Inc. (Booth N4730): Debut to the North American market of its Model SC3030 pressure forming machine with trim-on-the-mold capability. The machine will do deep-draw thermoforming of PP film; finished parts will be stacked and off-loaded.
ZMD International Inc. (Booth S745): Thermoforming machinery and systems including V-122 ``back to basics'' thermoforming machine, ceramic infrared panel heaters, and retrofit controls kits for older thermoforming machines.
